Mariska Bulten
Mariska Bulten is a Business Information Management consultant at Capgemini. Before starting her career at Capgemini, she finished her Master of Business Communication and Master of Knowledge and Information Management at the Radboud University Nijmegen. In her thesis, which she wrote in collaboration with Capgemini, she focused on Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management. She stated that the explicit knowledge that comes from the traditional BI process and tacit knowledge, which resides in people, should be combined in a new form of Business Intelligence. In this way, decision making in organizations can be more completely supported.
After her graduation, she gained experience in Business Intelligence and Project Management and further developed her expertise in information- and knowledge management. Mariska likes having a sound discussion about Business Intelligence and what it means for an organization and its processes, her critical remarks can for example be found on several blogs and especially on Intelligent Business.
